PenTeleData meets clients' needs to ensure network security by delivering continuous and cost-effective support on a 24 x 7 basis. PenTeleData allows clients to focus on their core business while we focus on ours: Ensuring Network Security. A Managed Firewall requires PenTeleData Plus and the corresponding hardware maintenance for Firewall hardware. Although the hardware is located on the customer's premises, the customer does not have access to the Firewall. PenTeleData is responsible for maintaining the Firewall, and PenTeleData monitors and responds to all Firewall Alerts. PenTeleData provides access to the NCC and Security Engineers for support, and monitors (24x7x365) Firewall hardware and connectivity. A Firewall can even be configured with or without Intrusion Detection.

Unmanaged Firewalls

With this option, the customer is responsible for all maintenance involved in managing their Firewall. Firewall hardware is located on the customer's premises, and PenTeleData provides support on a T & M (Time & Material) basis. Furthermore, the customer has access to the Firewall, and PenTeleData will directly log to the Customer's logging server (Syslog). Again, all Firewall changes are based on a T & M schedule. An Unmanaged Firewall can be configured with or without Intrusion Detection.

Remote Access Virtual Private Network

A PenTeleData remote access virtual private network permits users to securely tunnel into a remote network using a standard Internet connection (dial-up, cable, dsl, etc.) In other words, an individual working from home can securely communicate through the Internet with their corporate network.

Point-to-Point Virtual Private Network

A PenTeleData point-to-point virtual private network permits the secure transfer of information between multiple shared or public networks. Point-to-Point virtual private networks operate on the network level. As such, they are completely transparent to the users of the networks. In other words, an individual using their corporate LAN can securely communicate through the Internet with another corporate LAN located anywhere in the world with a PenTeleData Point-to-Point virtual private network.

Network Vulnerability Analysis

Network vulnerability analysis is a systematic review that determines the adequacy of security measures, identifies security deficiencies, and evaluates the effectiveness of existing and planned safeguards.
