Broadband Internet Access
Includes support documentation on commercial PenTeleData high-speed Internet Access technologies that do not utilize dedicated transport mechanisms. Included in this section are Cable Modems, DSL and Multi-Tenant EtherPoint.
Computer Patrol
Includes support documentation for networking, computer, server, wiring and specialized services performed by the PenTeleData professional services group, Computer Patrol.
Dedicated Transport Services
Includes support information regarding Point to Point transport circuits, Multiplex transport and other dedicated circuits. This section covers items regarding to transport only. Internet associated with such transport is included in the Internet Access section.
Dial-Up Internet Access
Includes support documentation for dedicated and non-dedicated PenTeleData dial-up and ISDN services.
Domain Name Services
Includes support information for all Domain Name Services (DNS), Web Hosting and Domain Name Registration at PenTeleData.
Dedicated Line Internet Access
Includes support information for all PenTeleData Internet Access products that are delivered over dedicated transport services. This includes Internet over T1, DS3, OC3, Ethernet, as well as all Burstable Bandwidth and Flex Internet Access services. This section only covers Internet Access documentation; transport documentation is discussed in the Dedicated Transport and WAN services section.
Managed Web and E-mail Services
Includes support information for Web Hosting, Managed E-mail/Web servers, Web design and Web statistics tracking. This does NOT include e-mail addresses that are @ptd.net, or not on a managed e-mail server, which are included in the section on Standard E-mail Services.
Padlock Content Filtering
Includes support information regarding PenTeleData’s Padlock content filtering for dedicated Internet Access.
Security Services
Includes Commercial support information regarding PenTeleData Firewall, Site Virtual Private Network (VPN), Remote Access, Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Auditing and specialized security services.
Commercial E-mail Services
Includes support information for E-mail services that are not hosted on private or managed servers. This includes @ptd.net commercial e-mail addresses as well as other virtual domain (i.e. mycompany.com) e-mailboxes that are accessed using the standard Promail.ptd.net mail servers or PenTeleData Webmail.
